ALL THINGS GEORGIAN AT GUNNERSBURY And it is not just Walpole welcoming visitors with exciting events in the coming weeks. Gunnersbury Park and Museum will be opening its doors to visitors and there is a decidedly Georgian feel to the fun this over the Easter and May half- term holidays. Look out for the Butterflies, Birds and Beetles Trail – where families can pick out a trail across Gunnersbury Park and discover a wealth of wildlife on the way. Free make-and-take activities will be running – including paper wig making over the Easter holidays and traditional Polish paper cutting over May half‑term. This month visitors will have the chance to get musical at the Magnificent Mozart workshop and party like its 1799 at Princess Amelia’s House Party. There will also be a fantastic pottery workshop Mayhem in Miniature, featuring pottery, clay and storytelling. Visitors can meet the Victorian Servants Gunnersbury Museum’s atmospheric historic kitchens and learn about life below stairs, discover what was fashionable in the 19th Century at a Georgian Dress Up session and learn about stop motion animation at an exciting workshop. The Little Flamingos Music: Movers and Shakers will be returning in April and May. This fun interactive dancing workshop will be back and are suitable for walking babies and toddlers.
