The album, including "No More
Dream" that reflects the concerns
of the youth, as well as "I Like It" -
a slower, ballad-like track on the
album, showed the diversity and
adaptability of SUGA as an artist.
The passion of creating songs that
speak out wasn' t subdued by the
company but encouraged.
Yoongi was credited for writing lyrics
to all of the tracks, alongside a few
bandmates and producers, coupled
with his first official credit for music on
the hidden track "Path".

As BTS's discography grew, the list of
SUGA's accomplishments as a lyricist
and composer followed suit. Having
released eight albums (including the
Japanese releases), BTS were enter
ing a new era with WINGS (2016).
Yoongi surprised the fans by
dropping a self-titled mixtape on
August 16, 2016, under the infamous
alias of Agust D. AGUST D serves as
a collection of memories presented in
a form of a mixtape. The songs are
almost a callback to his pre-debut,
original style of rap - raw,
unapologetic lyrics, boasting his
success, dragging the wannabes
and the haters alike ("Agust D",
"Give It To Me", and "Tony Montana")
and a flow that undoubtedly attests
to Yoongi's abilities. Yet, the mix-
tape also unveils a new side of him.
In the hard-hitting "The Last" and
slow-paced "Far Away (feat. Suran)",
Yoongi bears his soul. He opens up
about personal struggles, moments of
weakness, his insecurities and fears
which couldn' t really be that openly
discussed in BTS' works.
