Now, as an artist, he has proven
countless times that he holds incredible
talent within. He has not only evolved
as a singer and a dancer, but he has
also involved himself in writing and
producing. From a young voice full of
potential in “No More Dream,” we now
have his incredible solo performance
of “Singularity.” This solo shows just how
far he has come from that young boy in
“American Hustle Life,” unsure of his
potential, to the well-rounded artist he
is now.

“American Hustle Life” is important to
mention because in it we saw a glimpse
of where his voice could be taken.
We all knew he had potential, but it
was important for Taehyung to realize
that himself. Iris Stevenson, a mentor
for the boys on the show, was
completely right when she said that
Taehyung’s voice is special; that his
voice had “soul” and that it makes
people feel things. Although we very
obviously have felt this in his singing in
other songs before “Singularity,” this solo
allowed him to present himself completely.
And we all fell more in love because of it.
“Singularity” showed just how beautiful his
voice can sound, just how much his voice
can cause people to sway along with it.
Not only was his voice in perfect form,
but also his evolution in dance.
Watching him in the music video for the
song and then watching him perform on
stage is different but both are amazing.
His movements are mesmerizing and
he commands the stage. This song has
shown just how complete he is as an
artist and gives him the spotlight to
perform it with his unique grace.
