“I’m your hope,
you’re my hope.”
Do you remember the first time you
heard those words? Were you at a
concert or were you in your living
room watching BTS on television?
Maybe you were browsing YouTube
when you heard it. Was it a few years
ago, or recently? Jiwoo. Both he and his sister had
strong passions and dreams, his
sister, creating a fashion business,
while Hoseok himself found an early
interest in music and as he grew to
love it, he began to express himself
through dance.
However, the real question is: did you
believe J-Hope when he said it? He
believes in those words, his mantra,
his catchphrase, with his entire being
and he does not want ARMY to forget. His family tried to support him, but
it was not always easy for Hoseok
to pursue his dream of dancing and
making music. In “MAMA,” the song
he wrote as a tribute, Hoseok tells us
about his passion for dancing, stating
he “pinched [his] mom’s purse,” making
the situation hard for the entire family.
In order to continue supporting her
son, Hoseok’s mother worked two
