Hope World, in which J-Hope lays
out his journey to becoming a ­global
superstar and reflects on what he’s
learned on the way. P.O.P (Piece of
Peace) Pt. 1 shows J-Hope r ­ eflecting
on his rise to fame, but also has
him ­recognizing that as an idol and
a star, many ARMYs rely on him as
their ­escape to another world. It is a
responsibility he doesn’t take ­lightly,
with his lyrics ­telling us he chose to
embrace it and to ­create music to let
us all escape with him. In ­Airplane,
J-Hope talked about reaching his
dreams. He reminisces the times
during his childhood when he wished
to be on an airplane, and how he was
able to achieve that dream. J-Hope
also ­considers ­ Airplane as ­meaningful
as P.O.P (Piece of Peace) Pt. 1, as
it also talks about BTS’ s ­ uccess. His
fellow members even sang along with
