It is almost impossible to not feel
some sense of n
­ ostalgia whenever we
reflect on our f ­ avorite artist, ­especially
at such a significant ­milestone as a
birthday. We can’t help but look back
on their ­humble ­beginnings, their
greatest ­achievements, and their roller
coaster journey that led them to where
they are now. J-Hope is no exception
to this, and on his birthday let’s take
a look back at where he’s been and his
growth both as an artist and a person.

significant to
say the least.
We ­ARMYs
have been privileged to see his success as an
artist both within and outside of BTS. When
he first joined BTS and signed with BigHit
Entertainment, J-Hope’s only knowledge of
the world of hip-hop was from his ­experience
in underground dance. He once spoke of
the i ­ nfluence Suga had on him during his
pre-debut and period of adjustment into BTS
and the company; memories of following Suga
