Upon hearing that BTS, one of today’s most popular musical artists,
titled their latest album Map of the Soul: Persona, Dr. Murray Stein “was
bowled over.” He took this information and decided to write a short
book, Map of the Soul - Persona: Our Many Faces, in which he could
present the ideas he’d been working on for so long and help a younger
audience appreciate them. In this task, Dr. Stein was hoping it would be
“enormously helpful in introducing others to the profound insights Jung
gave us.”
During the process of writing this new book, Dr. Stein began listen-
ing to and studying some of BTS’s earlier songs. Once the new album
came out, Dr. Stein studied this as well, leading to an in-depth analysis
of the new album. ARMY Magazine is honored to have been asked to
share this analysis with you.
