ահաբեկչական հարձակումից տուժածներին: Ալբոմի
այլ երգերից են «Նորից կենդանի», «Մեկ այլ սիրային
երգ» երգերը: Ալբոմի թողարկումին հաջորդում է 325
համերգ՝ ավելի քան 20 երկրներում, որոնք անցկացվեցին
հրաժեշտի շրգաջայության շրջանակներում, և որը
տևեց 3 տարի:
2006 թ. Շերն աճուրդի է հանում Կալիֆոռնիայի
Մալիբուի իր տան ունեցվածքը, կահույքը, կտավները,
հարդարանքը, որի ընդհանուր հասույթը կազմում է 3.5
միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլար: Այս գումարի մի մասը նվիրաբերում է
Շերի անվան բարեգործական հիմնադրամին:
Չնայած բեմին հրաժեշտ տալու հայտարարություն-
ներին, 2 տարի անց Շերը վերադառնում է և 2008 թ. մայիսի
6-ին հանդես է գալիս «Շերը Կոլիզեյում» դեբյուտային
բեմադրությամբ՝ Լաս Վեգասի «Կեսար» պալատում: 2011
թ. փետրվարի դրությամբ նա ելույթ է ունեցել 192 անգամ:
2013 թ. սեպտեմբերին 11 տարվա ընդմիջումից հետո
թողարկում է առաջին ալբոմը, և ինչպես նա է ասում
Ռոյթերսին իր տված հարցազրույցում։ ««Ճշմարտությանն
ավելի մոտ» այս ալբոմը իմ լավագույն փորձերից է, և

gle “(This Is) A Song for the Lonely,” which did well on the
dance charts and was written to honor those affected by
the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Other tracks on
the album included “Alive Again” and “A Different Kind of
Love Song.” Following “Living Proof’s” release, Cher said
“so long” to performing live with a 325-date farewell tour,
which ran from 2002 to 2005.
In 2006 Cher auctioned off furniture, paintings and deco-
rative objects from her home in Malibu, California, as well
as a number of personal items, including memorabilia,
jewelry and stage costumes. The auction brought in $3.5
million, with a portion of proceeds going to the Cher Char-
itable Foundation.
Two years later, Cher returned to the stage, despite pre-
viously announcing plans to retire from live performanc-
es. She debuted a show entitled Cher at the Colosseum at
Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 6, 2008, and had per-
formed 192 shows by the end of the series, in February 2011.
Cher released her first album “Closer to the Truth” in 12
years' time in September 2013. As she explained to Reuters,

2017 թ. փետրվարի 8-ին, լեգենդը կրկին վերադառնում
է «Դասական Շեր» շոուի ներկայացմամբ, որը տեղի է
ունենում Լաս Վեգասի Մոնտե Կառլո Ռեզորթ և Կազինո
սրահում: Շոուն մեծ ուշադրության է արժանանում ինչպես
հայտնի հիթերի, այնպես էլ Բոբ Մաքի ստեղծած բեմական
հագուստների շնորհիվ: Լեգենդար 72-ամյա երգչուհու ու
դերասանուհու վառ կերպարը դեռևս չի խամրել: Շերը
60-ական թվականներից ի վեր սերունդների համար ոճի

“Closer to the Truth” is “my best effort ever, so I’m hap-
py with that.” She enjoyed more dance chart success with
album singles “Woman’s World,” “Take It Like a Man” and
“I Walk Alone.” Cher returned to touring in March 2014 to
promote “Closer”, but had to cancel dates due to a kidney
infection. In February 8, 2017, the music legend returned
to the stage, launching her “Classic Cher” show at the Park
Theater at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Ve-
gas. Her tour de force performance included some of her
greatest hits and costumes designed by Bob Mackie. Leg-
endary 72-year old singer and actress has a very full plate
till today. Cher has been a style pioneer since the 60s. Cher
is rightly proud of her career longevity.
