Product/Service Specifications
• Domaine Avetissyan is located on a picturesque
hillside in a lush region of Hadrut in the Republic
of Nagorno-Karabakh. Named after an ancient
church located in the village of Togh, Kataro is
produced from Khndoghny, an indigenous grape
variety. Khndoghny is grown on the slopes of
Togh at an elevation of 600-700 meters in a predominantly clay based soil. This native grape is
rich in tannins and gives the wine extraction and
expressiveness. Kataro pairs well with Armenian
barbeque, strong local cheeses and rich food in
general. This wine brings you the flavors of an
ancient land coupled with the know-how of modern winemaking.

Experience in the Field of Export
• Globally
• Domaine Avetissyan is located on a picturesque
hillside in a lush region of Hadrut in the Republic
of Nagorno-Karabakh. Named after an ancient
church located in the village of Togh, Kataro
Reserve is produced from Khndoghny, an indigenous grape variety. Khndoghny is grown on the
slopes of Togh at an elevation of 600-700 meters.
Late harvest selection and hand sorting of the
grapes, as well as aging of the wine for a year in
Caucasian oak sourced from local high elevation slow-growth forests, gives this wine depth,
complexity and elegance. Modern wines from an
ancient wine-growing region, Domaine Avetissyan is proud to share this exquisite product with
you.
• This wine pairs the experienced wine crafting of
Aveitssyan family with the flavors of indigenous
Armenian grape varieties grown in Vayots Dzor.
A blend brought to perfection through skillful
mastery and knowledge of each of the varieties,
Kataro White brings you the queens of Armenian
Highlands – Khatoun Kharji, Krdi and Voskehat.
The nose is elegant and floral; the palette is fresh
and mineral offering hints of citrus fruits and
white peach. Kataro White pairs well with light
cheeses, fresh water fish dishes as well as with
fruit salads and caramel or vanilla based desserts.
