Student Accomplishments
September Student of the Month
Grayson Ross, Arlington High School
Grayson Ross is a senior and is a great representative of the
spirit, pride and tradition that is Arlington High School. He
serves as Student Council treasurer, senior class secretary
and vice president of orchestra. He’s also a member
of National Honor Society, Key Club and Spanish club.
Previously, Grayson ran track and cross country, and he was
involved in Youth Leadership Arlington as a junior. Grayson
is an all-around great student and person, and a true asset to
Arlington High School.
As a senior, Grayson is taking five Advanced Placement
courses while also juggling his student council and orchestra
duties. Grayson knows he wants to major in International
Business, and he’s trying to decide between attending the
University of Texas at Austin or one of three universities
in Washington. †
October Student of the Month
Amanpreet Kaur, Arlington Collegiate High School
Amanpreet Kaur, a sophomore from Arlington Collegiate
High School at TCC-Southeast, has already earned 10
college credit hours, and she is an active member of Student
Council. She is hard-working, willing to help others and
fully committed to all tasks that are presented to her.
Amanprett would like to study medicine and become a
doctor when she is older.
Amanpreet is the first person in her family to attend college,
and she has a 3.50 GPA. She even had a poem she wrote
published in the latest issue of the American Library of Poetry.
She asks thoughtful questions and wants to learn more
until she masters the content. †
