Student Accomplishments
November Student of the Month
Tariq Otuemhobe, Bowie High School
Tariq is a talented Bowie High School student who has made
a strong and positive impact on the school. He takes many
AP courses, he’s involved in student leadership as a member
of student council, and he is very unselfish in his community
service, volunteering at Bowie Gives Back and Spookapalooza
each year. Tariq also maintains employment, and he has been on
a mission trip through his church.
But maybe Tariq’s most impressive skill is his artwork. His
career objective is to become a leader in the future of fashion
design and art education. He already utilizes these skills
and, paired with his entrepreneurial spirit, has formed the
Eden Apparel line of clothing.
Tariq is a well-rounded student, and he’s a true
asset to Bowie High School. †

Dani, who has been accepted to Baylor, is a very solid
student and a terrific example of a student who has made the
most out of the opportunities that high school presents.
Dani is an all-around great student and an asset to Lamar
