AISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION 6th Annual TAILGATE ARLINGTON FUNDRAISER The Arlington ISD Education Foundation and Tailgate Arlington Committee have a great event planned this year. Mark your calendars for Tailgate Arlington Wild Wild West on Saturday, September 24 at the Arlington Museum of Art.   The Tailgate Committee, chaired by community leaders Julie and Tony Pompa, have unveiled the details for the annual fall fundraising event benefiting educational programs, teachers and students. “It’s time to pull out your boots, throw on your jeans and help us rally around education!” announced Julie Pompa.  Kelly Curnutt & The Crew always provide delicious food at the Arlington ISD Education Foundation’s Tailgate event. There will be plenty of great food, entertainment and a silent auction. Individual tickets are $150 and tables of 8 seats are $1,500. Corporate sponsorships start at $1,500. About 300 people attended last year’s Tailgate Arlington event which raised approximately $150,000 in gross revenue for the Foundation and AISD schools. Foundation volunteers hope to surpass that goal this year to benefit local AISD schools. The mission of the Arlington ISD Education Foundation is to serve the students of the Arlington ISD by fulfilling extraordinary educational needs and initiatives.
