Seguin High School
A Distinction Above the Rest
Seguin High School proves that hard work can pay off.
They recently earned six out of seven distinctions, which is
part of the new rating system in Texas. Schools used to be
categorized as unsatisfactory, satisfactory, recommended
and exemplary. Now schools are ranked as Met Standard,
Met Alternative Standard or Improvement Required and can also
earn distinctions for additional accomplishments. Seguin
High School is the only high school in the Arlington ISD to
receive six out of seven distinctions. These accomplishments
are a direct result of the students’ and teachers’ dedication
and hard work.
