BASED AIRCRAFT FORECAST
Determining the number of based aircraft at an airport can be a challenging task because of the transi‐
ent nature of based aircraft due to the availability and cost of aircraft storage. Table 2G presents his‐

As shown in Table 2H, two market share forecasts of based aircraft compared with registered aircraft
have been developed. The first market share forecast considers the airport maintaining its 2014 mar‐
ket share of registered aircraft in the county (12.40 percent). This forecast results in 268 aircraft in
