As presented, business jet aircraft were evaluated for payload availability for the current runway length for dry and wet conditions. The analysis also presents the take-off length required by each aircraft departing under maximum takeoff weight. Nearly all of the jet aircraft examined can operate from the existing runway length; however, several would be weight-restricted when using Runway 16-34. The table also presents the runway length required for landing under three operational categories: Ti- tle 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 25, CFR Part 135, and CFR Part 91k. CFR Part 25 opera- tions are those conducted by individuals or companies which own their aircraft. CFR Part 135 applies to all for-hire charter operations, including most fractional ownership operations. CFR Part 91k in- cludes operations in fractional ownership which utilize their private aircraft under direction of pilots specifically assigned to said aircraft. It should be noted that CFR Part 135 and CFR Part 91k landing re- quirements only apply to jet aircraft operations. Runway Length Summary Runway 16-34 is currently 6,080 feet long and can accommodate a large majority of business jets on the market under moderate loading conditions, especially with shorter trip lengths and during cool to warm temperatures. The existing runway length presents loading limitations, as well as departure climb limitations. It is the hot days and longer trip lengths which will limit many business jets at Arling- ton Municipal Airport. Chapter Three - 30
