ED PROJECT
Anthem / Lincoln Square Redevelopment
The first step in transforming Lincoln Square is complete , with the approval of the first reading of Trademark Property Company ’ s request to rezone the 45-acre shopping center as a mixed-use gathering place for the community . The decision paves the way for Trademark to redevelop the dated center into a modern gateway to Arlington with a walkable and upscale mix of uses , including office , retail , hotel , entertainment and residential . The City of Arlington entered into a 30-year publicprivate partnership with Trademark that requires an investment of at least $ 150 million into the property in the next six years while collaborating with local residents and leaders on redevelopment plans . The Arlington City Council agreed to co-invest more than $ 14 million with the developer in exchange for the investment .
