The Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center celebrated its grand opening on Feb . 13 , 2024 . The 888-room hotel is a state-of-the-art , full-service meetings , events and resort destination that caters to groups of all sizes , as well as families who are looking for a world-class resort experience in the epicenter of the premier sports and entertainment district in the country . It features 266,000 sq . ft . of indoor / outdoor meeting and convention space , including the largest hotel ballroom in North Texas .
This $ 550 million project is part of a planned $ 810 million expansion of the Entertainment District , as part of a publicprivate partnership between the City of Arlington , the Texas Rangers Loews Hotels & Co , a wholly owned subsidiary of Loews Corporation ( NYSE : L ), and The Cordish Companies .
