FEBRUARY 2020
g o lf n o t i c e
Hello and happy February from the golf shop. With all the days and months of each
year we set aside the month of February for showing the ones we care of the amount of
love we have inside for each other. Let’s not forget all the other things we love each and
every day. Ok, I just going to say it, among other things I love the game of golf. With all
things we all love it take work and dedication to become good. With becoming good we
can start with vision and direction. What am I trying to say? When we are ready to hit
our golf shot, are we looking at the right thing? Are we pointed in the right Direction?
Without going into a super long narrative, let’s keep it simple. First question, what is the
closest point from point A to point B? Answer, A straight line! Over the many years of
my career I see more and more students not setting up for a shot while we aim the ball at
the target. The best advice I can give is to use the railroad track method. Place the ball
on one track leading to your target and your feet, knees, hips and shoulders on the other.
You should feel like you are aimed left of the target.
