DIVE AWAITS
Arjun's dive group, #BasedTechnology, will be presenting their Dive Prject to the 5/6 American Studies class on Friday, May 31, 2013. The presentation that people have been hyping up was yesterday!!! While asking Arjun about his Dive group he repeatedly told me that they were all trash and he was doing all the heavy lifting. At first he said that some of the people were cool (Anant, Catherine, and half of Milind) while only Alex was trash (No mention of Anson) but he would go onto say this about the group. "I'm the best everyone else is trash". How did his group members take this? Not well. They said THEY did all the heavy lifting while he would play computer games during their dive meetings. We talked to his group member, Milind, and he told us, "One time when we were having a meeting he played computer games for three hours until his laptop battery died out." Others uncontent with Arjun's performance include Alex, who was unfortunately the only one we could reach for interview. Alex gave us some information that did not really relate to dive so we will not go into much detail about his interview.
For Arjun, besides calling his group trash, he also talked about a time he could not go to a meeting because of other engagements. After getting the results of what happened during the meeting he told me this: Catherine was the "smart but lazy" person, Anant could have been the shotcaller for him but did not have the assertiveness, and Alex, Anson, and Milind were just useless.Fortunately, this article is published after the Dive Presentation because otherwise it would completely destroy Arjun's group's morale, leading to irreparable fallout and perhaps permanent emotional damage to all parties.
Although, when I told this to Anant, Anant said that Arjun was a dumbass but also a cool friend. Anant is a very cool guy by the way guys. If you want to meet him you should go talk to him during brunch where he will be hanging out in the area near a tree. I'm sure he's just joking but if it were me I would not have called them trash until after the presentation was done. Hopefully there presentation went pretty smoothly and they are not all curled up in fetal positions silently weeping to themselves.
