GLENDALE EQUESTRIAN CLUB The Glendale Equestrian Club ( GEC Riders ) is an Arizona Saddle Club located in the “ Valley of the Sun ”. We trail ride southwest Arizona and our membership is open to all horse lovers . We currently have member from Glendale , Phoenix , Surprise , Sun City , Mayer , Waddell , Peoria , Buckeye , Wittmann , Tonopah , Cave Creek , Litchfield and New River . We normally have Trail Rides scheduled on the second and fourth Saturday of each month . Persons interested in joining our club can join us on one of our rides or feel free to attend our meetings located at : Dillon ’ s Thunderbird , 8706 W . Thunderbird Road . Just West of the 101 . We meet every last Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm for dinner with our meeting starting at 7 pm . SOUTHERN ARIZONA ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION ( SAAHA ) Founded in 1966 , the Southern Arizona Arabian Horse Association ( SAAHA ) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of sponsoring and cultivating interest in the Arabian horse breed and participation in activities that will further that interest . SAAHA has much to offer the community , from competitive opportunities – horse shows and competitive riding – to recreational trail rides as well as social events and educational clinics . We are an active group that loves our Arabian horses and enjoys spending time with other horse lovers .
