On September 12, members will participate in the Cactus Classic, a show sponsored by the American Saddlebred Association of Arizona. The classes for the Peruvian Horses will be held at West World in Scottsdale on that Saturday morning. With 5 classes and a class called the Cutie and Spoon (Cutie orange carried in a spoon), there is sure to be a lot of fun in the arena. Saturday, October 24, will find club members at the Riding High Ranch, owned by Elaine and Eddie Klugman of Scottsdale. Invitations are out to our Paso Fino friends and other breeds to come to this Fun Day. Classes will include Pole Bending, Ribbon Race, Water Glass, Egg Stomp, Sit-A-Buck and Bribe-AHorse. We expect a good turnout. A nominal donation will cover all class expenses and a pot luck lunch will be held. Events will start promptly at 9 am, with signup, coffee and donuts served at 7:30 am. Riders from Caballos de BBC on the rail Larry Whitesell will be conducting a Gaited Horse Clinic on November 13th, 14th and 15th.
