1931. The Valley Bank opened for business in the new building on February 23, 1932. The Professional Building featured many lavish and modern touches. The elevators were embellished with marble facades and engravings. Hallways had metal lattice designs. It was the only building in Arizona to furnish individual linen towels in the restrooms; more than 86,000 towels were used in 1936.
