hy? This is a question we all face
every day. Why take the time to
read my message? You could spend your
time doing many other things but by
reading my message, you will understand
the passion the membership of AZUCA
has for the utility contracting community.
Shortly after I hired our first
construction crew in 2004, I joined
AZUCA as a board member. Not knowing
exactly what benefit AZUCA would bring
to my company, I knew being a member
would help my company. After many
years of participating in as many events
as I could, not only has AZUCA helped me
and my company, AZUCA has helped
make a safer and more knowledgeable
utility contractor community.

transitions. AZUCA is your vehicle to
success by connecting with your peers at
our many events, attending free

Associations that are working together to
As our team journeys down the road
as a utility contractor, every day our team
intends to do the best job we can with
the knowledge we have. I have learned
that knowledge can help an organization
be successful. Though knowledge does
not guarantee success, it is almost like an
insurance policy, it can help you in
difficult situations.
As the 2015 President of AZUCA, I
encourage every utility contractor to get
involved in this amazing organization, and
you to use our vendor members that
support our organization throughout the
year.
Through participation and the
resources available to all members, you
will gain more knowledge to assist in
building a safer and more proficient
team. Join AZUCA on an amazing journey!
