Semi-presidential Federate Republic
• A federal republic is a federation of states with a republican form of
government.
• A semi-presidential system is a system of government in which
a president exists alongside a prime minister and a cabinet, with the latter
two being responsible to the legislature of a state.
The European countries that have adopted the former political system are:
