ARIES: The idea of Vanity came to you how?
BRIAN A: I wanted to open a new GLBT club that
catered to 18+ but at the time the economy was in a
recession and it would have been a risky investment.
Instead vanity entertainment was created to produce
and promote 18+ events to the 775. Our goal was to
raise the bar in night life by not only allowing 18+ to
enter but also by booking the hottest GLBT celebrity
entertainment that was currently relevant.
ARIES: What was your first event?
BRIAN A: V-PARTY which stands for Vanity Party.
Our motto if “If it ain’t a V PARTY it ain’t THEE party!” The event was produced at Studio on Fourth with
an attendance of 300 people our first time.
ARIES: What is your daily routine for vanity on fridays?
BRIAN A: Planning Planning Planning! There is always an upcoming event that needs attention.
During the week our team meets and we go out and
paint the town in flyers. We meet with other business
partners to develop new celebrity bookings or sponsorships. One event that takes all year to produce is The
Reno Fashion Show for Artown.
ARIES: Describe Vanity?
BRIAN A: Vanity Entertainment is a local productions
and promotions company with a team of 15+ that creates events for the city, nightclub, and private sectors.
We have a weekly dance party at tronix every Friday
for those 18+ to party 21+ to drink.

ARIES: What was the best event that you have ever
put on?
BRIAN A: Our biggest and most extravagant event
right now is The Reno Fashion Show for Artown.
Last year it was held at The Grand Theater inside the
GSR. Hosted by Janice Dickinson ‘The Worlds’ First
Supermodel!’ Next year we hope to bring you Kelly
Osbourne from “Fashion Police!” Our future endeavors
include the resurrection of club vanity and bringing
BIG entertainment / concerts to Reno
ARIES: If you were not doing this, what would you be
doing?
BRIAN A: I would be in entertainment or nightlife
management. I obviously have a passion for this industry so anyway I could be involved would do. I try to
follow my heart and do what I love.

ARIES: What are some of the struggles that you get to
endure when putting together a night?
BRIAN A: You win some you loose some. Sometimes
there is competition. Sometimes people just don’t want
to go out. But for the most part our clientele has been
very loyal for the last 8 years. Not to mention we are
Reno’s ONLY 18+ weekly club night!
ARIES: Anything come up for the month of
December?
BRIAN A: There is always an event or celebrity every
Friday at Tronix. Doors open at 10PM. Cover ranges
