Daniel Skelton
We all fell in love with 23 year old Daniel when he made his first appearance in “Eating Out, All you can Eat” as Casey. With his boy next door charm and drop dead gorgeous smile, Aries had a chance to really get to know the man who brought Casey to life!
Aries: When did you first realize that you wanted to an actor?
ARIES GUY!
Aries : Were you going for the character of Casey or did you have another character in mind you wanted to play? Daniel : I hadn’t read the script or anything, but I think Casey was the only option for me. Aries : When audition what was going through your head? Daniel : I was pretty nervous! I was trying to memorize the lines when I had just received the audition piece a day or so before the audition.
Aries : The first day of shooting Eating Out “All You Can Eat”, was it like what you expected it to be? Daniel : The first day of shooting I was making out with a stranger. I didn’t really know what to expect, but that was certainly an interesting way to kick off the shoot.
Aries : What was everybody like on the set? Daniel : Everyone was amazing. It was truly such a great experience and I made some life-long friends. Aries : Out of “All You Can Eat” , “Drama Camp” , and “The Open Weekend” , which one did you like the most and why? Daniel : That’s tough. Probably “All You Can Eat.” Honestly, Rebekah Kochan (Tiffani) carried that movie. Her comedic timing was impeccable and she was so hilarious. Watching her performance in that you can see she’s incredibly talented. Aries : Do you identify your character in any way? Daniel : Absolutely. Casey is constantly struggling with self-confidence and his self-esteem. I think that aspect of the character is relatable not just to me, but any young adult or teenager. Aries : Daniel : What happened when you found I’ve always loved escaping into a character. I used to put on plays for out you got the character of my family when I was a kid.
