ME, MYSELF, & I
ith the economy being in the current state it has been in; everyone is trying to save and budget. Sadly, some people have cut shopping for their summer wardrobes out of their budget. There are ways to get around paying an arm and a leg for an amazing summer outfit or two. These are the top things that I look for when going over the sales and picking out what is really worth my hard earned cash.
1> The Clearance Rack
When hearing the word clearance the first words that come to mind are; cheap, out of season, missing a button, and the stuff that was just not wanted. Yes, these things are correct, but there are also hided treasures in the clearance rack. When I first go into a store the thing I head for first is the clearance to see if there are any pieces that are of the season. I have gotten some remarkable deals due to the fact that they were ordered online, which the person that ordered them did not think the color matched with what was online or it did not fit them, etc., and they returned it. The stores are then obligated to discount these items do to clothing articles not being stocked in the stores. I cannot account for how many garments I have gotten this way, and that is why I make the clearance my number one stop when walking into a store.

2> Only Purchase When On Sale
The biggest thing I am conscience about when going into shops is to be aware of all the sales. For summer the stores will always run sales promoting the new summer looks that are trendy. My biggest rule I give myself is, if it is not on sale do not buy it, well do not buy it yet. If it is a new product that the store has just received then the possibility of it being on sale is slim, but if you wait a week it will most likely be on sale then. This can be very hard if you are an impulse shopper. One key thing to remember is that the stores get shipments up to two times a week. If you give it some time your size will still be in stock.
inal stores, so it is like a sale price on a sale price. They are full of deals that some find it hard to walk away from. If you are an impulse shopper I would highly recommend shopping at outlet stores like we have at Legends in Sparks. You are always guaranteed a lower price than you would pay online or at the original store.

4> Universal Pieces
Good pieces to look for are pieces that already could be paired with items in your wardrobe. These will let you create different outfits with the one item. It is good to have universal pieces so you do not have to buy whole new outfit at one time. You can mix and match and create an outfit for your mood every day. Overall with these tips you will see a difference in the extra cash in your pocket. Simply if there is a piece that you can only see yourself wearing once, think twice about the purchase.
