Police Brutality

3

You may have been abused by a cop before, or you got arrested for no valid reason. We've, sadly, all been there and the police brutality is growing.

Our editors have gone onto the streets to ask the citizens about their experiences with law enforcement. The answers varied a lot. Some people were really surprised when we told them about the number or false arrests. Sadly, the number is quite large.

The main problem is that officers feel almighty. They arrest people for illegal reasons and treat them like rubbish. One of our editors even got arrested for damaging governmental property, while a cop drove into him! After that, he got arrested and the officer completely denied his presence and refused to answer him. No officers even cared about the law breaking officer and that's why the article is here.

We, as citizens of San Andreas, should know our rights. When we feel abused, we should contact supervisory ranks or a lawyer. We should not give up, no. We need to fight for our rights and tell officers when they are breaking the law or constitution. They don't have to necessarily be punished, as long as it is being pointed out.

Although some officers don't give a shi*t about the law, there are plenty who do. This article is related to the brutality, but a lot of officers have also shown great responsibility when it comes to taking cars of the unlawful officers. In the name of San Andreas, I'd like to thank those who make the department a better place and therefore San Andreas a safer place.

At last I want to ask all citizens to report any abusive officer to the correct authority. This includes supervisory officers+.
