Iguazú National Park
Beauty, pristine nature, rainforest, and waterfalls can all be seen at Iguazú National Park. This pristine national park is a must see when visiting Argentina. Here you can send the day hiking through the rainforest and seeing many of the wildlife that call Argentina their home. You can also take the rainforest train to see the many animals and plant species throughout the park. Iguazú National Park is not mainly known for their rainforests, but the waterfalls located within the park. Commonly known as Iguazú falls, this park consists of several waterfalls which are caused after the Iguazú river flows into the Parana river and runs through a number of islands and islets to fall from a lava cliff formed 120 million years ago. Wow! What a sight! These waterfalls are categorized into two sections, the upper and lower circuits. When in the upper circuit you are expected to spend two hours here to see the 0.9 mile wide waterfalls from a bird's eye view after taking the trail to get to the top. In the lower circuit you can hike on a trail to see these beautiful, historic waterfalls from down below looking up at them. These two spots are beautiful sights and would be a great start, or end to an amazing day at Iguazú National Park.
