SUMMARY McFarland made some reflections on the MOOC experience and has provided some ideas for the next version of the MOOC. Despite speaking to the on campus students about their experience of the course on a regular basis and making adjustments as he went along (namely changing the peer grading so that they were graded by staff rather than the students), there were a few things that he said he would do differently or needs to think about the approach to, for the next Course. The main change would be that there was a recognition that there needed to be a ‘reframing’ in the approach to the programme design to try and adjust the students preconceived ideas about how the learning should take place and how to recognize each other as a resource.
