I would like to acknowledge the support and generosity of my line manager,
Professor Hugh Davis for his guidance, encouragement and for allowing me the
time and space I needed to carry out this research.

I would like to extend my appreciation to Dr Christine Sinclair, my supervisor, who
has remained calm and measured in her Skype calls to me and has encouraged me
