Arctic Cat Cup Magazine English Edition Issue 4 2013 | 页面 2

SO... LET´ It´s finally time to start up the snowcross season of 2014. And as usual it starts with Arctic Cat Cup, the biggest and oldest snowcross competition in Europe. The weekend of 11-12th of january is the season starter of European snowcross. Over 200 drivers with the best starting field in Europe. It´s a gathering that every snowcross driver wants to top with a victory., But what makes Arctic Cat Cup that important for European snowcross? Is it that the best drivers meets in one place? Of course, say some. I would state a different reason and say that the greatness of Arctic Cat Cup is the sheer size of the event. The number of drivers, from the youngest drivers on the smallest machines to the grown ups on their fast machines. From just for the fun of it to the professional racers. There´s plenty of competitions aimed at the best drivers. But there is only one competition that allures and make room to the whole range of snowcross racers in Europe. It´s no mystery why the 150 gold helmet for kids started at Gräfsåsen´s snowcross stadium in Östersund. Östersund´s snowmobile club and Arctic Cat Cup always aiming at renewal, and making the sport develop into the future. When Swedish MC and snowmobile association now introduces regulations to 150 gold helmet, Östersund´s SSK will arrange a series of four 150 gold helmet competitions But for now we say welcome to all drivers to the 42:nd edition of Arctic Cat Cup. Let´s just hope that the gods of snow are with us. So that we can continue with making great competitions.
