Notes to Buyers
1. This Sale which is being conducted on behalf of BMW & MINI Group is a Top Car Sale open to all buyers.
2. All vehicles sold in this sale are subject to BCA Conditions of Entry and Sale. Large framed copies are
exhibited throughout the Auction Hall, and small copies maybe obtained from the Auction Office, free of
charge. All buyers are legally bound by these Conditions of Sale. It is important that prospective purchasers
read them before bidding.
3. In the case of vehicles which are less than 12 months old from the date of first registration, the unexpired
portion of the normal Manufacturer’s Warranty then remaining is transferred to the new owner, unless
expressly stated by the auctioneer at the time of sale. All other vehicles will be sold as seen, without warranty
and with all their faults. The vehicles have not undergone mechanical scrutiny and therefore, we suggest that
you arrive in good time to inspect any cars that you are particularly interested in.
4. The odometer readings on the vehicles offered at this Special Sale are to be regarded as warranted unless
otherwise announced by the auctioneer and/or stated in this catalogue.
5. Whilst every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the descriptions of the vehicles offered, BCA, will
not accept responsibility for any misrepresentations, misdescriptions or omissions contained therein.
6. Prospective buyers of any vehicle that is fitted with In Car Entertainment or Anti-Theft Alarm will be required to
satisfy themselves of the working order of this type of equipment prior to purchase.
7. All BMW Group Contract Hire and Repossession vehicles in this sale will incur a Buyer’s Premium as per the
normal BCA Conditions of Sale.
8. All Franchised Dealers are eligible to receive a MyBCA Black or Gold Card dependant on purchasing history.
These Cards allow you to enjoy Business Buyers Fees and BCA does not require a pre-sale deposit. Use of
these cards is unrestricted and can be used at any BCA Closed or Open auction that you are entitled to

9. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed on the auction premises unless accompanied by a responsible
adult who must take charge of them at all times.
10. Motor auctions involve the movement of vehicles which can be hazardous and/or dangerous. Please take all
reasonable steps to ensure your own health and safety and that of others at the auction, adhering to all
instructions given by the auctioneer and following the requirements stated in all notices. In particular, you
should take special care when near vehicles that are moving or are about to move.
11. To keep our auction centres full of fresh used vehicle stock for you, all buyers are required to both promptly
pay for and remove from BCA sites all vehicles purchased - in accordance with our terms and conditions.
We can deliver your auction purchases - simply contact the Transport team at any BCA auction centre.
12. You can now pay by MasterCard and Visa Credit Cards. (Transactions attract a 2.5% + VAT handling fee).
Cash payments will be subject to a 1.25% + VAT handling fee.
13. All vehicles within this catalogue include tyre tread depth information relating to the tyres fitted to each
vehicle. This information is available for you to view through Live OnLine and Auction View and is derived
from measurements taken using a laser scanner which measures the tread depth every half millimetre across
the width of the tread and produces average readings for inner, middle and outer zones. The tyre tread depth
information provided relates to tyre tread depth alone; it is not, and should not be used as, a guide to damage
and wear in other areas of a tyre, such as the shoulders and the sidewalls. Whilst care is taken in gathering and
presenting the tyre tread depth information, neither BCA nor the vendor accepts any liability for any
inaccuracies in that information; all such liability is hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
