It is dominated by rocks, red oxidized earth, a unique wild cypress bush, called ‘aorati’ (juniperus phoenicea), wild olive trees (olea europea) and the sea. The primary objective in the design of the building revolved around the harmonization of its architectural style with the character of the landscape. The nature at Cavo Greco, its “genius loci”, be- came our source of inspiration, which determined the architectural concept of the project. 13
