Τα προτεινόμενα χαρακτηριστικά των δυο άκρων προκύπτουν είτε από την
ενίσχυση ή την ανατροπή των προ-υπαρχουσών καταστάσεων. Η αναδια-
μόρφωση των καταστάσεων επιτρέπει ποικίλες σχέσεις μεταξύ του αστικού
περιβάλλοντος και της νεκράς ζώνης ή μεταξύ των δυο πλευρών, με στόχο
την ανταπόκριση στις απαιτήσεις των διαφορετικών σεναρίων.
