rant Thornton, the firth largest auditing, tax, outsourcing
and advisory firm in the country, called upon Giant Leap’s
interior expertise to successfully merge both of their
Johannesburg offices under one roof, while providing a new and
refreshed collaborative work space to further optimise creativity and
efficiencies for the group.
The massive 10,800m2, three storey building, positioned at the
Wanderers Office Park, will now be the admired address of more
than 470 employees. The company move was also a major milestone
for the firm, being the first time in history that the group has become
proud owners of its own premises.

Commencing in November 2014, the importance was placed on
uniting staff from two separate locations while providing modern,
open plan spaces and breakaway areas for employees and ultimately
using the Grant Thornton House to showcase the firm’s unique
corporate identity.
Giant Leap designer, Tania Jansen van Rensburg adds, “the brief
was clear from the start – Grant Thornton required one building to
consolidate all their staff, which would alleviate traffic and transport
issues, accommodate the firm in a central location and provide
stylish, collaborative environments which communicate the group’s
identity and new-age approach”.
