THIS SPREAD: Building C The plan of the building is a rectilinear floor plate of 1,300m 2 with a central core that allows lobby access to four flexible subdivisions of 325m 2 per floor. The three fire escapes allow dual escape from each segment. The efficient rectangular plan minimises the façade but is articulated to create façade definition and design interest. The ground floor of the building contains a recessed parking level forming a base, which allows the projecting office floors and the ‘floating cubes’ of white structure to dominate. These floating elements are eroded and cut into with windows and balconies to create the large graphic articulation of the form - play on solid and void. This 50 Westend
