Abland continues to break new ground in Centurion as it adds additional buildings
to its Westend Office Park, which will soon consist of six A-Grade office buildings
totaling 37,000m² in lettable spaces. The first four buildings are now complete.
The development uniquely hosts beautiful views over the Hennops River, creating a
tranquil environment perfect for productivity. Its optimal location on Hall Street allows
for easy access from the highways and major public transport routes as well as in
walking distance from the Centurion Gautrain station and Centurion Mall. The buildings
are designed economically with efficient floor plates and can accommodate a variety
of tenants, with individual façade articulation creating design interest and highlighting
the positive and negative forms of each structure. This article covers buildings C & D.
Building C
Designed by MWLF Architects, Building C is the third building developed in the Westend
Office park. The Park is designed to accommodate six buildings that relate to and
evolve from the design themes implemented on building A. The concept is for a family
of buildings that share a DNA but are not identical. Thus B was an evolution of A and
now C takes themes and ‘pushes’ ideas and design further.
