Client Brief The brief from the developers , Rejem-Linton ( Nedbank ), in collaboration with Jonker Evolution , was clear : create a shopping centre that not only delivers exceptional convenience and value but also enriches the community experience . The aim was to design a space that offers a diverse range of lifestyle retail options , from branded fashion outlets and homeware to a variety of popular eateries . Additionally , there was a strong emphasis on integrating eco-friendly practices and renewable energy solutions to ensure the centre ’ s environmental sustainability .
Retail Network Services was appointed as the retail strategist and leasing specialist to ensure the centre ’ s tenant mix aligns with market demands and enhances the overall shopping experience . This strategic approach aims to position Town Square as a leading destination for both residents and visitors from the broader Alberton and Ekurhuleni areas .
