Interior Communal spaces are designed to allow flexibility of use . Loose furniture can be moved to allow larger gatherings of up to 200 people inside the building , whilst also spilling out to the new open courtyard . The various common and shared spaces are contrasted with the privacy of single bedrooms meeting the different needs of students who live , study and gather in a variety of social and spatial settings .
Units are designed as a mix of ± 16m ² studio units , ± 24m ² 2-Bedroom units and ± 41m ²
3-Bedroom units . Bedrooms are private rooms with a kitchen and bathroom included in each unit . The unit / apartment type model allows for future flexibility of building occupancy . All bedrooms ( except 1 sharing room per floor ) are private rooms with bed , desk , bookcase , BIC , fridge and TV . Communal areas including a gym , lounge , TV rooms and a variety of study centres support the residential portion of the building .
