might obscure the visibility . The modern , angular elevations that do contain more building structure have had this integrated as a design feature . The eye is drawn to the building with the structural elements framing the well lit interiors , especially at night . Each floor contains different depths and angles , effectively achieved by working closely with the engineer to achieve design elements such as extremely long cantilevers supporting massive structures above .
The professional team worked to push the boundaries where physically possible to achieve the final building design . As off-shutter concrete is not a forgiving material , the structure is exposed with no place to hide , necessitating a well thought out architectural and structural design solution from the outset .
The core of the building is centred by a lift lobby that services every floor . The glazed panel of the lift allows a different view over Grayston Drive depending on the floor , with the top floor offering a striking birds eye view .
Materials Besides the use of off-shutter concrete , steel screens are incorporated as a design element on the north eastern corner . The screens form an extension of the building on which the tenant signage is placed . Over the main entrance to the lift lobby a steel pergola crosses over to the join the concrete beam support structure for the digital billboard .
Conclusion The building has been designed to maximise the exposure tenants obtain from the building . Allowance has been made for future expansion , with the possibility of adding another showroom level .
