LIGHTING & ELECTRICAL CONSULTANT ’ S COMMENT Shopping malls have traditionally presented a static lighting installation , which is purely functional . At Blue Route we wanted to create changing lighting scenes and make use of extensive layering in conjunction with the ceiling architecture .
The major challenge within the mall was to ensure a high light level throughout the various areas of the mall , while maintaining energy efficiency .
In order to achieve this , various lighting systems had to be implemented to deal with the very different cross section details throughout the mall .
