Site The site is situated adjacent to the existing Zone development ( which comprises two levels of retail , three levels of basement parking and a movie Complex ), with the existing Firs Shopping Centre and Hyatt Hotel on the northern side .
The new development is thus a logical extension to Old Mutual ’ s other developments in the Rosebank precinct , namely Regents Place and Mutual Square ( currently under redevelopment ). The Zone 1 and 2 developments are divided by the pedestrianised Tyrwhitt Mall , which was
an extension of Tyrwhitt Avenue , permanently closed some years ago and developed into a pedestrian precinct .
The site is bounded by Oxford Road on the east and Cradock Avenue on the west . At the eastern end of Tyrwhitt Mall , access is gained to the underground Gautrain rail link via one of two concourse access points . The future BRT Station is situated in Oxford Road opposite the Zone 1 development .
