In total, 37 apartments were created, ranging from compact studios and one-bedroom units to generous basement lofts and two penthouses crowning the top floor. The penthouses open onto private terraces, offering sweeping views of the cityscape, a contemporary gesture that complements the building’ s heritage stature.
Wherever possible, the original materials were preserved. Windows and door frames were repaired and refinished, while interior details inspired by the Italianate Cape Revival style were reinterpreted in a subtle, modern language. The result is a dialogue between eras: classic craftsmanship meeting contemporary precision.
