CIPLA

INTERIOR DESIGN: URBAN SPACES | PHOTOGRAPHY: JOHANN LOURENS | LOCATION: CENTURY CITY

Designing the new Cipla Headquarters was not a project completed overnight – it was the result of a 13-month journey of collaboration, detail, and vision. For Urban Spaces, the challenge went far beyond creating a functional workplace. It was about shaping a home for people, one that carried Cipla’ s legacy while preparing it for the future. Countless hours were invested in workshops, planning sessions, and design refinements to ensure every corner of the space feels welcoming, inspiring, and true to Cipla’ s ethos of Care for Life.

The result is more than just an office interior; it is an environment that reflects warmth, trust, and innovation, encouraging employees to feel both comfortable and motivated. By blending heritage with a forward-thinking aesthetic, the design speaks to Cipla’ s proud history while boldly positioning it for the next chapter of growth and success.
Design Elements The subtle integration of the Cipla‘ C’ motif guided much of the detailing. Rounded corners soften the environment, while discreet‘ C’ patterns embedded in surfaces reinforce brand identity without overt branding. Acoustic bulkheads in ceilings carry a modern aesthetic, balanced by efficient LED flat-panel lighting that uniformly illuminates the space. A‘ hero wall’ prominently showcases Cipla’ s key products in a visual narrative honouring past achievements and inspiring staff.
The canteen, on the second floor, acts as a social hub. Vibrant orange PET bulkheads inject energy and warmth. Intimate booth seating invites small group chats or solo breaks. A supersized TV wall anchors the room, offering a platform for corporate messaging or communal viewing. Suspended greenery introduces a biophilic dimension, softening the space and contributing to occupant wellbeing.
