Delivering Under Pressure While the completed building presents an image of calm sophistication, its delivery required extraordinary coordination. The entire development was completed in less than a year, an exceptionally compressed programme for a project of this scale and complexity. Construction of the building shell and tenant fit-out occurred concurrently, with no flexibility in the completion date due to Absa’ s relocation schedule.
This demanded close collaboration between the developer, contractors, consultants and tenant representatives. Every aspect of the project required careful sequencing to ensure that progress could continue without compromise.
