Landscape Design The landscape design incorporates several sustainable features. The natural slope of the site allows for rainwater harvesting in a small detention pond. This water is then redistributed for irrigation. The pond forms the endpoint of a planted swale that runs westward from the enlarged terrace through the garden.
Boulders uncovered during foundation excavation have been repurposed to line the
swale, reinforcing the connection between the built and natural environments.
Interior Design The interior palette is deliberately neutral, allowing the surrounding greenery and natural materials to take visual precedence. As the Kiaat used in the original building was no longer available, American Walnut was selected for the new wing due to its rich colour.
