The underside of the ‘ wing ’ is clad in aluminium ‘ Hulabond ’ sheeting . On the second building , the outstanding concrete work is attributed to Lafarge ’ s revolutionary new ‘ Agilia ’ concrete – a self-compacting product that results in a high quality surface finish , and which reached 85MPa – a critical result in the water-retaining areas . The gold skin is composed of an array of powdercoated purpose-made aluminium panels , affixed to an intricately designed steel sub structure , that was digitally modelled and profiled .
Both buildings are fitted throughout with high performance double glazing . Both pairs of glazed garage doors are fitted with electric privacy smart glass , operated by remote sensor , and which both protect the vehicles inside from the western sun , and screens them from view , when required .
Interior Design The brief to the interior designers from Affinity Interior Design Solutions was to create a contemporary and exciting office environment . As such , the spaces are filled with bold furnishings , most of which are custom-designed and manufactured by master craftsmen . A complementary blend of textures and materials exude luxury and the client ’ s appreciation for the ‘ bespoke ’. Every feature light on this project was purpose-made .
The boardrooms and executive offices are fitted with state-of-the-art presentation and communication systems and are akin to CCB ’ s cutting-edge and fast-paced ethos . Within the offices , the furnishings are ergonomic , playful and even sometimes colourful .
