The site for this development is found adjacent to the Nicolway Shopping Centre in Bryanston and is known as the Medscheme Office Park . The position of the site offers good corporate exposure opportunities and is also easily accessible from all major surrounding road arterials , the highway and Gautrain bus routes .
The Site The gross leasable area on site measures 16,000m ² in total . Of this area , building phases one and two , which consist of two individual office blocks atop two levels of structured basement parking , take up 12,000m ², with the Samsung offices occupying 6,000m ². The remaining area hosts a third office block and an area on site has already been designated to allow for the possible future expansion of the Samsung offices .
The biggest challenges throughout this development were the time constraints and budget . Each building was given a total project time of 6 months after which time it was to be completed . As a result , a well co-ordinated flow of information between all the teams needed to be adopted so as to ensure that these goals were reached .
