The interior design concept derived from three main key
factors namely simplicity, organic and neutral. The main idea
was to create a comfortable yet urban office space that is
trendy. The use of strong visual patterns and shapes makes the
space interesting.
The floor plate is divided into four main quadrants, where
each quadrant received its own accent colour, extracted
from the Citi Global guidelines, to assist the manner of way
finding. The four colours of aqua, plum, ochre and green
were implemented to highlight collaborative working areas as
seen in the accent floor inserts and decorative wall panelling.
The colour aqua was used throughout the space creating a
Citibank
holistic entity throughout which tied all the quadrant colours
together. The extensive use of white was also inspired to
accentuate the accent colours accompanied by warm timbers
and fabrics.
AECOM delivered a full BIM (Building Integrated Model)
service to the client ensuring a clash free design and construction
pack before construction commences on site. Virtual renders
were presented to the client showcasing new technology
as a method to communicate design and construction ideas
to the client.
AECOM worked in collaboration with MACE & Trend Group
who managed the full fit-out of the new Citibank offices.
